Palace Counts Castro Guimaraes Museum
The Palace Counts Castro Guimaraes Museum, also usually referred as the Tower of Saint Sebastian it is a classic, built in a small cove the bottom is touched by the sea waves during the high tides. His style is Romantic with an appearance of medieval château.
Built by George O’Neill in the XIX century, was later sold to the Count Castro Guimarães. Designed by Francisco Vilaça and two other architects, Albrecht Haupt and Luigi Manini.
The Palace Counts Castro Guimaraes building is classified as a Public Interest since 1993, still retaining an original design and a vast art collection.
